(9,823 posts)1. I remember just a few years ago when Bernie polled at 90% right here on DU.
This was against Hillary Clinton. Of course, a couple of years later he was persona non grata around here.
Im glad hes helping out here in Oregon. He would have been a (relatively) GREAT president.

Circumstances change and that is why people's reactions change.
This is coming from a former Sanders voter who now recognizes that vote as the only one I've ever cast that I've come to regret.

His hiring choices for his presidential campaigns were abysmal, which made me really wonder about his judgement.
But I am glad hes on the road helping w the midterms. Appreciate that.
