The husband of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives was bludgeoned...

in his own home by a person made crazed by the blatant LIES of GOP politicians and vile right wing radio, television, and social media pundits.

Enough. VOTE, so that we can hold these evil bastards responsible for their despicable lies and incitement to violence and to save our democracy.

I plan to post on DU after I vote: 'I voted today'. I ask you all to do the same in the name of democracy.

Edit: didn’t intend to minimize the accuracy of you using the word bludgeoned, apt description.

Took my early ballot and dropped it in our town box a week ago. Straight Dem, as usual. Since 1980, I've never voted for a Republican for anything, ever. Even though I do respect Gov. Scott. Sorry, can't break the string. My parents and grandparents raised me right. My grandfathers would both spin in their graves and haunt me forever if I ever voted for a Republican for anything.
