The World Series is going on.

Philly versus Houston.

Philly wins a game then another then another.

What if Houston is outraged? There was cheating going on. Umpires were compromised. Umpires made bad calls. Umpires lied.

Therefore Houston won the World Series. Forget all the runs that Philly made. They lost. Because Houston said so.

Well, it's kinda like that with the 2020 Election.


There is no debate. No mistakes were made. There was no corruption. Someone won and someone lost -- honestly.

Sometimes you have to accept that you lost. And there's next time. Try to play a better game.

4. I used to do a lot of game role-playing

typically as the Dungeon Master.

Most of the players involved just want the storytelling experience, but there's always one guy (and he's usually male) who insists on challenging any decision, any roll, that doesn't go his way, usually at the expense of everyone else's patience. After a bit of this, I'll actually start skewing the game against him. If that's not enough, the next step is pulling him aside and talking with other, until finally I go for a full ban, at which point they become very argumentative and disruptive.

The GOP reminds me a lot like that Rules Lawyer Player. It's not like they're stupid, but rather they want everything to go their way, and they will do everything they can to cheat including monopolizing the GM's time, claiming attributes they don't have, and otherwise attempting to dominate the game. The irony is that when they are the GM, their games are boring, inconsistent, and pedantic. They have no idea what they're doing, and eventually everyone else leaves the new GM.

When they aren't in control of the game, they do everything to cheat. When they are in control of the game, they run it into the ground.
