Please know that the prayers and warm wishes from so many are a comfort to our family and are helping Paul make progress with his recovery.

We are grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and emergency services, and for the life-saving medical care he is receiving.

The tweet would have been accompanied by a comment placing blame on the Left's rhetoric for causing the attack, and accusing the libs for being soft on crime.

Macarthy's wife is attacked by one of their own. Which let's face it that's what Republican legislation fears the most.

They are completely afraid of all these supporters they have gassed up into a frenzy coming after them and their family members one day.

And believe me when the Republican party turns on Donald Trump and they will.

Those crazy supporters will come for them.

And I imagine Republican legislators probably get just as many death threats from their own so called supporters, if they step out of line.

for all in Congress and to the rest of us, watching the RW show their sadistic denial and demonization of the victims in real-time. I just can't fathom what a sizeable portion of our population has become. It is like stepping back in time and watching Hitler turn the German people into genocidal monsters in real time. I hope I will look back on this period and feel abashed that I was so hyperbolic, but I fear it can only be so to an incremental degree.
