By pretending that he wants to testify to the J6Committee under oath?
Is he trying to play the innocent, goody-goody two-shoes by having his lawyers negotiate with the Committee?
Is his audience the Supreme Court?
What does he want them to think? That he is the victim? IS he playing his sympathy card for the Court?
If so, the deceitfulness is beyond the pale.

(22,156 posts)providing his returns (to do so). I know the decision was blocked for 10 days but there's already been enough discussed and the law is clear on the matter, returns must be provided. NO ONE is above the law. Well, now the Supreme Court is, being that they put a hold on the provisioning of the returns as demanded by the law. What is this, that every f**king time tRUMP has an issue, he's going to run to the f**king supreme court? Who in this land of ours would be able to do this on their issues? Grossly unfair.
My question still is, what in the hell is tRUMP so afraid of, what is he doing on his tax returns that he doesn't want seen?

(15,651 posts)They are hearing his appeal on congress getting access to his taxes- thats the only case before SCOTUS with Trump as a named party at the moment IIRC. Is there still an appeal on the documents case pending?
So, how would Trump teasing he wants to testify to congress affect a SCOTUS ruling on this or any other issue?
