Then they showed about 12 pics of smiling faces without names or more importantly party affiliation while newz guy says these candidates refused to debate.
Then a map saying it is a growing national trend.
But they dont say who the candidates are and more importantly which party theyre from.
How many Democrats do you think are skipping debates? My answer: ZERO. But they dont make that clear.
Its both sideism without even saying that specifically.

(8,387 posts)Since it is obvious that My answer: ZERO is obviously based on your being misinformed, is the idea to get us to name them all?
In Arizona, Hobbs is refusing to give a platform to Kari Lakes craziness. Some people who do not have access to Hobbs internals think thats a bad idea. The GOP in Arizona rags about this all day long. So, now there is also a DU thread which might as week be titled, Lets all repeat Kari Lakes talking point.
There may be others, but voting has been going on already in many places. It is well past time for the curious belief that these debates change anyones mind.

(8,387 posts)But instead of being proudly ignorant, it does not take a lot of effort to find others, such as PA Governor candidate Josh Shapiro, or Michigan AG Dana Nessel, which are both major statewide races in which the Democratic candidates do not want to platform their election denying opponents.
But since your answer was ZERO how about you list the Republicans you know off the top of your head.

(8,929 posts)don't debate. They just have a mouthful of useless rhetoric ready for any topic and then pivot to their rhetoric. It's not fooling anybody so I guess they figure it's best not to go at all and avoid the risk of saying something stupid.
