▶️This Democratic County Is Turning Red. Here's Why.

Nov 1, 2022

Democrats are in danger of losing 3 reliably blue districts in TX. 29% of Hidalgo County residents lives below the poverty line and 33% are uninsured. Voters say they feel sold out by both parties. But Democrats can win them back by proving they truly support the working class.

But they're ready to give the fascists another go at it. Fuck them. I'm tired of these people. Their willful ignorance will cost us all.

They are in control of the legislation that gets passed. People in red states are stupid if they think the state controlled legislature is writing laws that will benefit ordinary citizens.

Not.

I have zero sympathy for idiots like this, and if the Republicans take over, they will learn the hard way.

Makes me almost want to start a "Jews for Hitler" thread.

There is not a single Democrat in a state wide office in TX. Latinos have the numbers to impact elections but don't vote anywhere near their population numbers. They can miss me with this both parties suck crap.

who ignore the working class and have no economic message. We've been hearing it for seven years.

But sure! Republicans will, like, totally bring down high gas prices, flood poor communities with money and resources, provide health care and great education, increase wages and really care about workers, be selfless leaders uninterested in getting rich because they care, they really really care about the working class. Not like those yucky gross Democrats who spent all their time ignoring everyone while nibbling canapés and counting their money.

If Republicans are actually adopting progressive populist anti-Democratic attacks in those districts and choosing working class non-white-male candidates, that's pretty diabolically clever. Exactly like Justice Democrats! The left and right wing populist alliance won't work with white Republicans in swing states (because Democrats have to be portrayed as socialists who take their hard-earned tax money and give immigrants and poors free stuff), but maybe works in these districts.

Is because of Republican votes and the filibuster! Instead of getting more dems they sit there and claim the dems are just as bad ! Self defeating ignorance.
