Is the Child Tax Credit completely off the table?

I don't see any Democrats saying "vote for us, and we'll bring back the Child Tax Credit." Is this because interest rates have gone up and it's harder to finance governmental spending now? Seems like a winning political argument to argue in favor of the credit.

Mortgage rates have gone from 2.75 to 7.09% in just 2 years. That will triple your monthly mortgage payment compared to 2 years ago.

Currently US Treasury pays put $365 Billion every year for interest on national debt. That will soon double. And then triple. Can you imagine what that money could do to help people every year?

Anyone financing a house in the past year or two will have a hefty mortgage interest expense which will surely put some tax returns over the standard deduction amounts.
