(5,906 posts)I hear the gloom and doom pundits on CNN and the radio and how likely they're saying it is that at least one House will change on Tuesday. I think it's bullshit. If everyone would just show up and vote, it wouldn't happen. If you have family and friends who haven't voted, get them out. If you haven't voted, do. You must. The stakes are too high.

(5,172 posts)My son just misses the cut off, but he will be voting in the spring election. My daughter has pushed her friends at school to vote, but we will on Saturday together
I've been pushing everyone I know that votes Democratic to get their asses to the voting booth.

(28,347 posts)I am so very frightened.
What will life be like for our children and our grandchildren's children?
I love America, and our Constitution.

(6,556 posts)She patted my shoulder and told me I worry too much! I told her I will not be living in the "new" world for long, but her children will and asked her to vote for their future because I will! God help us all!
I'm getting a passport after all these years, I'm 73. I don't know what the country will be after next week, but with the acceptance of fascism and autocracy, I am frightened. I am Jewish and my family always knew when it was time to flee. My children and grandchildren all have passports as well, because we will all go together

(14,317 posts)I cant recall clearly but something like Rise Up. I had to admit it was a pretty good ad. My point is it inspired a bunch of people who were feeling despondent and despised to get off their asses and vote.
Let it be so for us now.

(1,429 posts)of the 72 year long fight by women for the RIGHT TO VOTE!!
A brief, very brief, image of the words 'Roe v. Wade.'
VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Women of America VOTE TO PRESERVE YOUR FREEDOM OF CHOICE and correction of the LONG LIST of unaddressed needs of women and their families.
