One literally was in jail for years. The world is an absolute mess.

Yes, he was imprisoned (by a judge who was a supporter of Bolsonaro) to bar him from running in the previous election, but his conviction was thrown out as being politically-based.

We all know this is bad for Israel and Palestinians enormously. But might it be more likely they assist Ukrainenore than Lapid did?

Since then, he's been thinking about it.

The devastation in Ukraine aside, Iran's munitions industry's getting a sizeable boost from the missile and drone etc. sales to Putin, so I could see that being something Netanyahu might want to stub out.

Iran is the sworn enemy to Israel. I imagine Israel regardless of whose in charge eventually wouldn’t mind fighting a proxy war against Iran even if it is at the disadvantage to Russia.
