The "Cat & Mouse" game of the DOJ, the Supreme Court, the J6 Committee, and the former president.

They are making their moves.

The DOJ is questioning Kash Patel under a "use" immunity process. He cannot take the Fifth and must answer the questions, under threat of perjury, and any evidence from his testimony cannot be "used" against him.

Donald Trump requested emergency action from John Roberts and the Supreme Court on the order that he turn over his tax returns. Roberts temporarily blocked the House Ways & Means Committee from getting the documents and has ordered the Committee to respond by November 10th. That will be after Election Day.

Donald Trump has more than hinted that he plans to announce another run for the presidency, perhaps on November 14th? Coincidentally, that is the day he has been subpoenaed to testify before the J6 Committee.

(Surely, if a former president cannot be prosecuted, then an active candidate for the White House is untouchable?)

Then, we hear reports that the DOJ announce that they may appoint a Special Counsel to investigate any "crimes" by Donald Trump. This would be the ultimate delay. It would require getting someone to take the position, and all the time required to get his/her staff together. There is even suggestions that they appoint a former Republican to the position.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave...
