60 mph wind gusts & heavy rain - no electricity for 2 hrs now

(12,656 posts)We're getting the southernly edges of them as far south as San Diego, the first one howled through with high winds and hail a couple days ago. I hate La Nina years; we need snow, not wind and rain.
We're also lucky all our electricity around here is underground.
Stay safe and dry.

(1,726 posts)Somehow we still have electricity. I dont know what tomorrow will look like - lots of stuff hitting the house and grapes branches straight out.

(1,383 posts)Yeah, it's roaring tonight. Lights are flashing intermittently but power has stayed on so far.
But, that's why I live here. The bourbon is tasting extra special tonight. Cheers!
