We're getting the southernly edges of them as far south as San Diego, the first one howled through with high winds and hail a couple days ago. I hate La Nina years; we need snow, not wind and rain.

We're also lucky all our electricity around here is underground.
Stay safe and dry.

Somehow we still have electricity. I don’t know what tomorrow will look like - lots of stuff hitting the house and grapes branches straight out.

Yeah, it's roaring tonight. Lights are flashing intermittently but power has stayed on so far.

But, that's why I live here. The bourbon is tasting extra special tonight. Cheers!

The wind here is so strong, our motion-sensor backyard lights have been going on and off all night
