Biden Snaps At 'Idiot' Protesters Branding Him A Socialist

President Joe Biden lashed out during a speech Saturday in Illinois at protesters labeling his policies “socialism” as “idiots.”

He then pointed out that Republicans are out to gut vital social service programs like Social Security that are so American that the nation has had it for 87 years.

Biden blasted the signs brandished by protesters saying “socialism sucks” outside an elementary school auditorium in Joliet where he spoke.

“I love those signs when I came in — socialism. Give me a break, what idiots,” he said to laughter and applause.

I can live with them, embrace them even. But “snapped?” Big nope. He’s as fed up as we all are. He didn’t snap. He just called it as he saw it.

They couldn't tell you what the English definitions of "liberal" or "conservative" are, either.

A venerated old Republican guru once tried to tell me Obama was a "socialist" over ten years ago. I told him, look what he did with General Motors, which Obama rescued from bankruptcy after Cheney-Bush. He engineered a government takeover, brought it back to solvency. So(cialist) far, so good. But then, he RETURNED IT TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR. A socialist would have put him up against the wall and had him executed for such a move. What Obama did is precisely the opposite of what a socialist would do.

Even the Republican guru couldn't come up with a counter argument to that one. You can bet it didn't take him long to start calling Obama a socialist again, but he never used the line on me after that.
