GQP ads are about stoking fear and anger. It's a continuation of their daily pump by Faux and the rest. Now you would think that with the thousands and thousands of hours of programming by cable news that they could bring on psychologists to talk about what the long term effects are of doing this to people. The domestic violence, the threats against local officials and volunteers all increase. They need to grab onto conspiracy theories/cult behavior because it reinforces these strong emotions they've become obsessed with and they desperately seek it out because the alternative is to let that go and admit they were wrong. They desperately don't want to admit being wrong, appearing stupid. Most of all they would see that as the "libs" winning and the anger and fear has taken them over and tells them they can't let that happen. So new outrages are generated on almost a daily basis by their media/political heroes. A responsible media would examine that from a psychological standpoint. But we don't have that and so what we get are talking heads telling those of us who haven't succumbed to the GQP that it's our fault for not "understanding the MAGATS" and that it is our failure for not persuading them by information and debate. Well it's quite a bit like claiming it was the fault of the average citizens of California for not "reaching" the disciples of Manson.

The plan is to appeal to their most extreme supporters by dishing out the "misery and hurt" those supporters crave. Those people should stop worrying about souls being condemned to Hell and ask themselves why they themselves have moved into Hell voluntarily.
