The direction is the worst. Don't get me started on that.

But what I hate the most is that the "heroine" is so stupidly selfish as to get pregnant again when she knows it will kill her, and without one concern for what her death would do to the child she was lucky enough to survive having.

That really hit home for me, because I was about the same age as the car-named character, I had a child about the same age, and I, too, had risked a great deal to have him. Once he came, there was literally NOTHING I wouldn't have done to make sure he had a mom who would be there for him. My job was to be there for him--not for my own stupid, selfish, child-lust wants.

I was glad the scumbag died at the end. She didn't deserve that child, or a husband like Dylan McDermott (rowwwr!).
