After We Keep The House And Add Senators

we cannot relax, we cannot stop fighting fascism.

We need to get behind the Electoral count Act that has enough Magat sponsors to get it passed in the lame duck session. We cannot allow Magat-controlled states to abuse the Electoral delegate procedure.

We need to add 4 SC justices.

We need to push to hold Trump and his coup cronies accountable.

We cannot rest, we need to counter the big money fascists, the domestic oligarchs who want to end our democracy.

I am 75 years old and this mid term election is the most consequential election I have ever voted in.

Please, make sure to vote, my Pa. will lead the way flipping a Magat Senate seat.

Tired of all the doom and gloom and your post is a breath of fresh air!! Thank you! If this were really a MAGAT wave we wouldn't be seeing tied polls. It's just as likely that Team Blue is going to do just what you say!

I see Fetterman/Shapiro signs where I never saw signs before, and not along highways, in yards.

If the Magats are expecting to take Pa. why are they planning to accuse Philadelphia of fraud? I voted by mail as did many more Democrats so our votes will get counted last.

Polls are used for propaganda, the Magats have to keep the polls close so they can use that as a talking point when they cry fraud.

Kill the filibuster deader than dead, and ram through:

Voting rights
Court expansion
Codify Roe
Pass the original BBB with original climate measures

And that’s just for the first month…

Problem is Biden thinks he can get the republicans to act like they did in 1993. Its over for them. There's no fixing what is wrong with them.

When I say wield power ruthlessly, I don’t mean to get revenge, I mean to use Their legislative powers courageously and without hesitation to enact policies and programs that serve and help the American people, rather than succumb to pragmatic incrementalism and filibustered gridlock.

Using power to provide good, effective governance is what Republicans fear most, because it would ensure Democratic majorities for the foreseeable future.

Fits in nicely with their plans of whining about stolen and rigged elections if and when they don’t. Imagine how great America would be if conservatives put as much energy into doing good as they put into doing bad. But. If conservatives did good they wouldn’t be conservatives.

and stop pointing out the shortcomings of the groundbreaking bills we pass (one ad touting Biden's Inflation Reduction Act states "President Biden's bill doesn't solve everything" - those words don't belong in that ad)

We need to point out Republican administrations end in job losses. Democrats reverse that.
We need to point out red states are inferior in every quality life index. Blue states are life quality leaders.

The point of good messaging is not only to bolster the base, but to convey to demos that STILL vacillate, like white suburban women that you dominate the political landscape. You do that by using fighting words, by staying on offense, by repeating your message ad nauseum, and by mocking and humiliating republicans for every move they make.

They made the whole country talk about their candidate all through this election cycle, even though for a lot of the time they did not have their candidate participating in their efforts.

They made it so EVERYONE got the message, not just political junkies. They made it so everyone ENJOYED getting the message, because often they made us laugh. They put it in our faces and didn't wait for us to go looking for them.

We need to bottle that team.

I have ever voted in. I voted for Marcus Flowers, but I know that the ignorant people in this district will vote for MTG. I see the yard signs everywhere. I see their posts on social media. They are proud to vote for Brian Kemp, MTG and all the others on the ballot who will keep them in last place forever.

And I'm also a resident and voter in Pennsylvania, my friend!

I'm so happy that Josh Shapiro is ready to step into the very large shoes left by Governor Wolf. When Wolf's term is over I believe he'll receive more credit for being a great Governor than he's getting right now. Shapiro will have a big job to do in the next 4 years, and wouldn't it be wonderful if the Legislature decides to be his partner, rather than a thorn in his side? Such is Pennsylvania politics, there are too many loonies in Harrisburg, and they're making way too much money for what little they have accomplished.

I believe John Fetterman will become our next Senator from Pennsylvania, and he'll be wonderful too.
