We all Grew up Knowing there are People you can't talk freely with. Now one of them owns Twitter

Old folks who didn't get it and you knew better than to explain things to them. In some cases, parents. Almost always grandparents.
Even if you were religious, you knew folk you couldn't freely banter with because they were uptight religious.

Then there were the racists. I learned the hard way that you couldn't talk to them.

When I was young, folk asked, "Is he cool?" By that they meant, "Will he call the cops if we take out a joint and smoke it." The folk that asked, "Is he cool?" called the uncool, narks. The narks of course, were people who seemed like you could talk with them, but they were not.

Today the Tea Party has turned into the MAGA hatters Tea Party, and they are people you can't talk to.

They have noticed that we don't talk to them, but they haven't looked in the mirror to figure out why. Instead, the side that was always for censorship and oppressing minorities, can't figure out the real reason they are being ghosted.

When they scream about the woke, politically correct, ghosting, being a pariah, and being ostracized, it is because we are learning who can be talked with. We can't talk with them. They get angry. They get violent. They can't accept that they are the ones driving us away.

When Rupert Murdock bought MySpace, it was past it's prime. But it fell quick when he got his hands on it. A "Cool Place to Hang Out," is not ever going to be a place where bullies are supported and every last dime is raced for.

Now Elmo Muskrat has bought Twitter. It had issues, but it was still prime real estate on the internet. The problem we have is that Elmo lost his cool factor about the time he started making up things about cave divers. Unless he can do an engineering miracle on his own brain, he's gonna do what narcissistic far right dudes always do. He's gonna make it hard for anyone to talk freely anywhere he goes and that extends to Twitter.
