'208.3 BILLION' USD is Elon Musks Net Worth. 1 that's one .... Fucking Person on Planet Earth...

Power ball tomorrow night = 1.9 Billion. Cash payout would = 929,100,000. That's 929 million and 100 thousand chump change dollars. Biggest Power ball ever. Just short of '1' BILLION take home pay.

I owe $49,162 dollars and 73 cents on my Mortgage. That's 49 thousand one hundred and sixty two dollars and 73 cents. I started taking Social Security at 62 years old but am still working part time and am now 64 1/2 years old. My house is worth about $500.000 dollars. That's 500 thousand dollars. I am not allowed to go over the yearly earnings of $19,000 yearly in my work or S.S. will take half of anything over that they pay me, away from me.

I haven't touched my Social Security separate bank account money the last 2 1/2 years hoping to use it to pay off my house sometime early next year. Almost there. Fingers crossed no health issues unexpected expenses (and now will S.S be there?) etc ... anyway ...

Not sure I have a point here but here goes. This guy (Musk) decides to just buy that Twit site and off a whim and just lay off 3000 employees right off the bat. Put them out of work. 3000 people who I am sure just like me weather younger, older whatever maybe each had their own 'plan' to get ahead, go to school, just get by, or even live day to day and take care of their kids, parents, pay bills, their own mortgage, rent, food ... etc ... survive, and not become homeless.

There is a special place in hell for people like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, MTG, Ronald Reagan, Bobert, Hitler, Nazi's (Too many to name), Fascists, Fox News, Manson's, MAGA (again too many to name) etc ... etc ... ha ... VOTE and maybe we can get this abomination against mankind (and woman-kind this 'cycle' yes pun intended) under control. Geesh ...

Guess that's all I got tonight ... VOTE ... love one another & Peace.

You can get Social Security retirement or survivors benefits and work at the same time. But, if you’re younger than full retirement age, and earn more than certain amounts, your benefits will be reduced. The amount that your benefits are reduced, however, isn’t truly lost. Your benefit will increase at your full retirement age to account for benefits withheld due to earlier earnings.

I'll probably vote. 😉

Really, people on DU are the last people you need to tell to vote. We have Dem. blue blood running through our veins.

It's the rest of those people out there who don't follow politics we need to tell to vote, and explain why they have to vote. There's too many people who take democracy for granted.

So we have two days left. Get on the phones, knock on doors, and we'll turn their "red tide" into a blue tsunami. 💙 Oh, and don't forget to vote. 😉

on taxes, and you'll have to pay them yourself every month or quarter, however your county does it.

Might be best to keep that lump sum of cash accruing interest every month.

Bezos and Branson, that money isn't liquid. It's in company stocks or bonds or other investments. They can't put their hands on it as trying to cash out would cause big losses to their fortunes and market gyrations.

Musk himself had to borrow money to buy twitter.

They should probably be called billionaires on paper, or possible billionaires or cash poor billionaires.

If they had it in cash or mostly cash, now that would be something.
