GOTV:
Democracy
Kept alive to life it gives
To young to old
To her to him
Where community and voters live
Walking softly stepping
Past the fear the mind it gives
Veiled threats through thoughts
And shadows cast
Through moon the path it glows
And time runs fast
The wind proclaims it’s will
Through branches hanging low
Walk not in fear though time it passes
Time it passes fast
Into the waters flow
The soul it seeks a place of respite
Quiet bliss and happiness
As time it moves
Moves and tows
A more perfect Union
Slowly ebb’s
and roughly flows
Out into the open square
Once again with people there
No more artificially
Away from anonymous strokes of key
From cold hard vidiocity
From mindless vidiocracy
From hounded youtubicity
From nameless faceless obscenity
From deepfake liars
And dumpster fires
From sabotage
By obstruction
From the rule of laws
Rapid destruction
From tyrannical construction
From capitalistic corporate destruction
Media biased
both sides do it dysfunction
From the fascist vortex
And it’s powerful suction
