is that Kevin McCarthy and the Repugs in Congress are completely clueless, stupid, and inept.

They will not get anything done other than holding meaningless hearings.

Maybe they can get Trey Gowdy to come out of "retirement" to hold just one more Bengazi hearing.

Nothing will get done, including finding any evidence of wrongdoing.

Of the fact that from 2017-2019, they had the WH and both houses of Congress and the only legislation they passed was the tax cut for rich folks.

That doesn't mean that they can't do bad things - like messing with the debt ceiling.

But they can prosecute no one.

So can they drag rick wilson before a committee? Yes.

Can they get his emails and text messages? Yes.

Can they issue a criminal referral to the doj? Yes, but the doj is under no obligation to prosecute if there is nothing there.

Will they get anything legally damaging from him? Doubtful. But this will be a political circus; not a hearing designed to bring to light crimes or abuse of gov't.

With wilson, they would likely try to establish a link or coordination with dem groups or individuals. Then craft a q-theory around it.

They can do the same with anyone.
