Even if I read, "Though the polls may have closed across Texas, voters in Harris County had until 8 p.m. to get out and vote. Follow along for live updates." My clock (I live in Houston, TX) says it's 7:39 pm.

What? https://www.houstonchronicle.com/

I hope it's fixed before you click the link.

Serious. Idiocy.

Texas has posted the early voting results and that's where Beto's lead came from. Now that the same-day results are coming in, the race is tightening.

A handy free thing to do is go to Google and type in "Texas Election Results"

(segn0) Turn off the radio, computer, tv. Have a drink. Curl up with a good book. And a drink.

Go to sleep at a reasonable hour.

By morning there'll be a decent clue.

Go to work. By quitting time there's likely to be some reasonably authoritative results.

It not, repeat "dal segno".

And try again on Thursday.

as a whole had no real ground game.

Local organizing, outreach, and GOTV
were shit.

Two women near me signed up with three
different groups to help and drive people
to the polls and never got a reply, for example.
