Moment of humor from Michael Steele on live on MSNBC

He asked for a shoutout to Wes Moore for winning the MD governor race.

The problem was the NBC election desk had not yet called it when Steele made his comment. Maddow "scolded" him. They all had a laugh.

But Moore is historic. Third AA governor in US history and it happened on the 20th anniversary of Steele's election as Maryland's Lt. Governor.

My read on Moore . . . . he has even more optimism and positivity than Obama displayed at the similar point in his career. And that was a LOT - his convention speech was one that caused most people to cheer.

Keep your eye on this guy, Moore. He's GOOD.

We didn't know him until the primary race. He wowed the crowd and really wowed us.

We're really excited about his governorship.

As an aside, WaPo's Ashley Parker is =ALREADY= touting him as a national candidate!
