Florida and Ohio are loss causes

I Think for 2024 we need to try harder for NC & TX, while also investing more in AZ & GA as they are the new swing/purple states…while not wasting money and time in FL and OH….they have become Missouri.

I didn't expect Crist and Demings to win but damn... I didn't expect these shitty numbers. Rubio and DeSantis were hitting their expected numbers but the Democrats, what the fuck was that?

They just barely scraped up 3 million votes, when Gillum and Nikki Fried got 4 million in 2018, and Joe Biden got over 5 million in 2020. Where were the Democrats???? 3 million shitty little votes?????? WHATTTT???????

Everyone was so concerned what the Republicans were doing in other states to suppress the vote, but desatan and his cronies in the legislature really made it harder in Florida

If you want to vote you can vote.

They gerrymandered but voting is sacred. I fear many Floridians just don’t care.

They seem to be lost on how to fight, yes they were buried by money but the only commercials I saw from Crist complained about insurance rates... You can't assume the voters in states like this will respond to logic. Repugs win because they scare the daylights out of the voters.

They never attacked Deathsantis on his autocratic moves, his Covid response or his attacks companies in the state that dare cross him. We don't need to give up, we need new leadership that knows how to fight back.

Ex AF here too btw.

That's what disappoints me the most. It seems like Democrats gave up. Truthfully, Demings and Crist may not have win but it could have been a nail-biters based on previous trends but Democrats fell off HARD. The vote count is sooooo bad. They have less votes than any statewide Democratic candidate over the last 3 election cycles.

It looks like we just gave it to them.

How much erosion and how many hurricanes before it is uninhabitable?

Tonight I am thinking: Good luck with your win DeSantis. You're going to need it.

Things do look bad here, but remember, the Republicans have gerrymandered us to HELL.

We need electoral reforms. And in lieu of that, fight on, fight hard, and fight anyway.

What we really need is an update to Howard Dean's 50-state strategy. Run Democratic candidates everywhere, in every district, even in places where a loss all but seems guaranteed.

If you don't run at all, you will always have zero chance of winning.

Let's make it non-zero, everywhere, and start from there.

He picked up a TON of rural votes and could have won with more support.
