Is the biggest loser tonight actually Trump?

With the failures of "his" candidates will Republicans begin to see him as toxic?

I don't expect they would outright disavow him, and risk alienating die hard MAGA supporters, but just quietly distance themselves and let him wither and fade?

And two days ago I would have said he was a shoe in for the nomination.

After this, his primary opponents have an opening to use against him. It is no longer a guarantee he can get his supporters to show up at the polls. Even if he wins the White House, they can say, it would be a hollow victory if they cannot also take Congress.

They were flipping wrong about everything------"Dems will lose! Dems will lose!" Why would anyone ever believe them ever again?

Trump will rip that party apart before he cedes control of it to anyone.

DeSantis will be a dead man walking if he wins the nomination, Trump will not support him at all.

If DeSantis runs he will win. Trump is the bully that everyone fears but don’t like. If someone punches him in the nose and makes him bleed, they’ll flee. Cons that I know like trump but want DeSantis cause they think he’s more electable.
