I can't possibly understate the political & policy consequences of this: Democrats just gained full control of four state governments today.

Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, and Minnesota.

(I have no idea what to make of the aliteration.)

2. Outside of Gov, MA already had full control of state gov't......

Every congressional district was dem, every statewide office excpt gov was dem, dems had a supermajority in both houses.

But yeah, the gov gives us a clean slate.

Still, we are not as blue as you imagine. Lots of retrograde morans here. Just huge wave elections.

We still have the ability to put up bad candidates and lose races. Cases in point; weld, baker and romney, along with scott brown.

We also this election cycle added a 4% income tax on people making more than $1M/year, aand we sustained a law that enables undocumented residents to obtain drivers licenses.
