FWIW. My election takeaways
It is tough to live in Texas.
Here is what I think about the elections
1. Beto can’t win in Texas. I love him and supported him but we need to look elsewhere next time
2. Florida isn’t a swing state. We need to leave it alone and put resources where we can win. It is too gerrymandered.
3. Republicans have conditioned their base to vote for what they hate without any benefit to them. Those people are lost.
4. Regular Republicans will vote for a Democrat before they will vote for a trumper. Throw an independent or libertarian in there and that’s where they will go.
5. Herschel Walker is buying néw shoes because he heard there was going to be a runoff and he wants to be ready.
