They file many similar but different law suits in many different states and circuit court jurisdictions until they get one crazy enough to go with them because politics. I expected this to happen.

That isn’t the same thing as hearing an appeal and ruling against it.

Also - agreeing that a particular plaintiff lacks standing is not tantamount to ruling that nobody else could have standing

Let's be very clear here, these plaintiffs don't have standing. What we have is a Texas Trump "judge" who doesn't think settled law applies to him if it forces an outcome he dislikes. Two generalized grievances don't satisfy the injury-in-fact element of standing.

favour of either:

foetal personhood (instant nationwide ban on all or almost all abortions)

the independent state legislature theory so that Rethug trifecta states can negate a Dem popular vote POTUS win in their states and send Rethug slates for POTUS in the EC

Since the Cato Institute plaintiff in Kansas at least has a standing argument. The plaintiffs in this Texas case don't.
