Stacey Abrams: our hero! What's next for her?

I know it's very early for Ms. Abrams to be deciding her next role, and she is hopefully going to be the key to the December 6 Georgia run-off.

After that, does anyone know what her next position is going to be? I hope she becomes a permanent part of the Democratic Party in a leading role.

But I would really like the Democratic Party to consistently run a 50-state all-office strategy. I wonder if Stacey Abrams would be better in this kind of role, although I understand Harrison is a good fund-raiser.

I am not sure what your club reference means, but Stacey Abrams is the issue, and her credentials in helping Ds winning elections are impeccable. She nearly won in 2018, was chiefly responsible for Joe Biden winning GA in 2020, and winning the two Georgia US Senate run-offs in 2021.

Can you describe your "club" in greater detail?

You do realize how much Brian Kemp did (much like Ron DeSantis) to make it nearly impossible for a Democrat to win their respective states?

0-2 is absolutely irrelevant, given what she did in 2020 and 2021. There is absolutely no question that she was the key person to those amazing results.

They've both lost twice and don't deserve a third loss.
With their incredible energy, they can both be inspiring influences in the party, and I hope they do.
There is a place for them, it's just not holding a statewide office.

I look forward to seeing what they decide to do.

Or something in Joe's admin. Or with Obamas? Just some thoughts.

She is a national treasure who can write her own ticket, imo.

I read that she wouldn't be really happy in a cabinet position and she's clearly stated she would prefer to be in the executive, rather than the legislative, side.

I agree with one poster here: losing twice as governor isn't good, especially going from barely losing in 2018 to losing by a decent amount this year.

However, she is absolutely too valuable to the Party and the country. The DNC seems like a real role for her, but I don't know the dynamics with Jamie Harrison.

Perhaps David Axelrod can quit that odious CNN and restart his political consultancy and make Stacey his equal partner in "Axelrod Abrams"!

Her next role is to get Sen Warnock a win in the runoff. Please don't get ahead of yourself with her.
