Why is MSNBC showing Republicans have 49 Senators vs 48 Democratic Senators? (Original Post) Baitball Blogger Nov 2022 OP
Because thats the current count with 3 seats up in the air? jcgoldie Nov 2022 #1

It was just assumed that AK would go to the GOP because it's a runoff between 2 Republicans. Why did they wait so long?

in favor of the more conservative side, and downplay anything that might benefit the left.

It's always annoying, but this is less annoying than their current showing of a 222R-113D House when that's not settled either.

Raphael Warnock has to win in the runoff election because neither he nor Herschel Walker won 50% of the vote. The runoff will be just between those 2 and not the 3rd guy. When Warnock wins the runoff, he'll be the 50th D Senator.
