For everyone fretting about a Guv. Man Bewbs candidacy in 2024

Guv. Man Bewbs and to a lesser extent Lil Sip of Water benefited from the migration of MAGAt cultists from other states where the 1.5 million transplants since 2016 were overwhelmingly conservative as evidenced by the number of registrants skewing stupid. On the other hand, siphoning off these brainwashed inbreds from other states is a positive for Democrats as seen on Tuesday.

4. This is the time when DeSantis' handlers start to build a brand.

it's like trying to sell a pinwheel as a wind generator. But they have to develop a national market for another Trump-like demigod. It's quite possible that he'll get no traction only because he's so close to Trump's coattails in the memories of voters. "Oh. Another Trump." Who wants THAT?

I saw some of the pictures of him on MSNBC and all of them are so staged aiming to give a feel of "president". I don't know if it will work but they are definitely trying to brand him for something he is not.

Hopefully though, TFG can get DeSantis to show his true self.

6. This is why Man Bewbs's ascendancy needs to be nipped in the bud

Before the media starts anointing him as 'inevitable' and President-in-waiting. Fuck this oxygen thief by flooding the comments sections of online reporting of his miserable failure during COVID allowing 85,000 Floridians to lose their lives and serving as the national super spreader that the flaccid penis state was/is. Also, Ian and Nicole are harbingers for the storms to come in the next two years.

10. Unfortunately for DeSantis he lacks the charisma to do the cult demigod.

His act won’t fly w the Trump cultists. Nor will his Florida ‘culture warrior’ act fly with the rest of the US.

He is in for a rude awakening.

And he really is a tool of the old Republican establishment. He’s a parrot. Trumps critique of him is totally understandable.

7. well, seniors have been flocking there for decades.....

And for whatever reason, older white voters are voting R. I turn retirement age this year, and I'm white, and I just don't understand the statistic.

Maybe it's polling bias of some kind? My generation grew up in the 70's and was no fiend toward the fascist right. What happened?

But those older, wealthier, whiter, retired folks are down there as well.

8. They hated the taxes they paid in the states they came from

They find Florida excellent because no state income tax, never mind the property taxes; never mind cutting taxes for education and substituting lottery proceeds for them (and in the same vein, never mind that Florida has a no fail policy for students); and never mind the lack of services outside of the blue areas.

You want to see the senior MAGAt population in full oxygen-thieving glory, go to The Villages and watch the STD-afflicted tool around in their golf carts.

12. Dear Friends of mine (turned trumpers) Bought a house in Ft. Meyers

I haven't talked to them in a few years. I just don't understand how intelligent people fall to the cult45. But they did. I saw through facebook that they were moving from Los Angeles to Florida. After the Hurricane, I found out that they bought a house in Ft. Meyers. She said the house didn't seem to take much damage (not sure how it didn't get flooded with that storm surge). Anyway, I don't wish ill will on them, but seems like Karma might have something else in mind.

Those hating on California, East Coast elites and other places and people deemed to be "anti-god" or whatever other demonizing meme they use has caused many of them to see Florida as the new promised land. I personally knew some of them.

Those numbers you posted tell the story and I don't think they can be overcome. This isn't the FL that was stolen from Gore or that Obama narrowly won twice. These new voters are baked in for repubs.
