To a man they are supporting the process. Message to Trump? First indication of moving on from the Trump era.

Of course it might be said they are completely unprepared to challenge elections, they didn't prep, because, remember, they were having a RED WAVE!!

Or perhaps they ran out of shyster lawyers willing to risk their license to practice over bogus big lie claims.

4. Sure seems that way. Maybe they're in shock.

They got themselves so worked into a tiz about red waves that when it didn't happen, and in fact turned out to be a BLUE wave in some places, they just don't know how to process it. Trump was prepared to lose and had the big lie in his back pocket just in case.

5. Unfortunately there are a lot of bad election laws in states like Texas as a result of the Big Lie.

Those laws aren’t going away until we have federal laws that protect voting rights. Any voting rights act also needs to make gerrymandering illegal.

Gerrymandering has to be stopped.

Wish we could trash the damn electoral college. Fucking the worst compromise ever made.

You cannot give right wingers a nanometer because they'll find a way to twist shit up to take advantage and screw the people

have had their law licenses suspended and are under multiple layers of legal jeopardy.

But it hasn't "gone away" despite the fact that the lamestream media have demanded the term "Big Lie" not be used.

After a bunch of loons sued only one county out of 67 in the state of PA- Philadelphia, to force going through what is called a "poll book reconciliation" to make sure that people who mail voted didn't come in to vote again in person, then like 2020, the city has a livestream going 24/7 as that process happens -

And knowing that livestream will eventually end and will be unavailable in this post at some point, here is a still of it -

In the above, here in Philly on a Saturday morning in November, there are a pile of people working (I think they are at a warehouse in NE Philly), seen in the upper left-corner of the image, way in the background from the camera, but there nonetheless.

As a note per the City Commissioners (who handle elections) 70% of voters here in Philly VOTED IN PERSON and we are the opposite of a "red area", with a more than 7 - 1 (D) - (R) advantage.

7. They gerrymandered districts, passed onerous voter ID requirements, created new voter access

hurdles, limited early voting, eliminated voting precincts, fabricated polls to discourage voters, spread lies and disinformation, even placed armed militia goons at drop boxes to intimidate minorities. It still didn't work, their "red wave" was a bust.

Yelling "stolen election!" now would be patently absurd. Even the MAGA QAnon mob would have a hard time swallowing that.

10. And this suppressed the Democratic voters in Florida

"That 15 of the 19 arrested so far are Black confirms for DeSantis' political opponents and for voting rights advocates that the new unit is functioning precisely as intended — not as a bulwark against nearly non-existent election fraud but as a means of suppressing and intimidating Black voters who are unlikely to support DeSantis or other Florida Republican Party office-seekers."

https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/news/2022/10/10/black-voters-over-represented-among-those-arrested-election-crimes/10436294002/

White folks have the privilege of ignoring racial color. But for people of color to ignore it, could kill them.

The GOP won in Florida because they threatened to lock up Democratic voters. These threats will escalate in the next election because it works.

Once the dust settles they’ll start talking about “voting irregularities “ and “statistical anomalies,” citing the disparity between early polling that strongly favored Republikkkans and the actual reults.

The Big Lie is their best seller, so they won’t abandon it easily.

It's not getting as much traction as 2020 though. The M$M were complicit in reporting/spreading the big lie. Even if not directly promoting it, they absolutely helped get more eyes on it.

Stolen elections, but even at that they will grow wary when nothing in their world changes. They were promised time and again they would see Justice for all these ppl who steal “their” elections, but nothing is happening to change it.
