A two seat cushion would be nice, but 1 means Sinema and Manchin would have to band together to block stuff. They cant trade off taking turns being the bad guy.
Also, less risk one of them will go all the way and switch parties giving the Repubs control again.
Its not as high stakes as if we hadnt already gotten the 50, and I think this makes it more likely well win Georgia (I think Repugs are gonna be less motivated to hold their nose and vote for Walker if Senate controls not at stake) but it is still an important race.

(362 posts)Its strategically important, and also symbolically important because Walker is such a horrible and incompetent person that a Warnock loss would be an insult to the human spirit.
