I have to say, last week I was worried if our democracy would survive if there was a large red wave

Watching Bill Maher and Thom Hartmann among others talk about things, I worried a bunch of election deniers would win and pull all kinds of crap for Trump. I was very stressed out and worried about the country. I feel 1,000 times better now! Yes, our Democracy will survive for awhile longer. Dems need to put some safeguards in place to patch up any weaknesses that were starting to show up in the event we get another Trump type coming along.

Was I the only one seriously freaking out about how bad things might get? That we could possibly lose our Democracy?

I was closely watching the youth vote mobilize, so I wasn’t in despair, (well, right after Roe fell, I wasn’t feeling good at all) but we live in frightening times. I feel a lot better too.

I have been stressed out for months.
The rural/urban divide kills any chance of a county or congressional Democratic candidate from winning where I live. The city itself has a strong Democratic city council and mayor.

polls were wrong. And so many even here posted that crap day after day...I wonder if the voters were discouraged and without all the negativity would we have easily won the house?
