The outrage over control of young men's bodies

That was the issue in the late 60s that motivated young people (although a huge number of us we’re not allowed to vote because the voting age was 21). It wasn’t just that young men were dying, it was that young men had no control over themselves and what they wanted to do. But everyone admitted that was the only issue. This election was about control of young women’s bodies. Yet, the narrative is still Trump and old man problems. The issue is a young woman right to control her body. It is not whether a woman can get an abortion, it is whether a woman can go to a doctor and try for a baby knowing that, if something goes wrong she can die. OK, Trump appointed these assholes to the Supreme Court, but focusing on him minimizes the horror young women face.

because they (people with dominant voices - the media, pundits, politicians) consider "men's" issues (issues that kill white men as opposed to anyone else) to be legitimate. There are "issues" and then there are "women's issues" and "minority issues" and "LGBTQ issues" - every single one is a human issue but they can't see that!
