What happens when a narcissist has his ego crushed?

We are about to find out. Trump is 100% ego and he is losing and losing and losing. He is losing political power, he is losing followers, he is losing financially, legally. His brain is going to come apart at the seams. He will most likely lash out with uncontrolled revenge. He will most likely make things worse for himself and those who he blames for his mistakes.

Trump is heading for a very bad ending.

Trump and Trumpism served Putin well, to the detriment of our country, but it has played out. He has more than enough problems of his own making to deal with.

During the time period when Pence was telling Trump to go fuck himself with his insurrection plan, the orange dipshit said, and Pence quotes, "You are too honest, people will hate you." As shocking as this sounds, the worst of it is he was 100% correct. You look at candidates like Pence and Cheney and while politically they are still douchebags, at least they have some measurable amount of integrity, and their electorate hate them for it. For years we spoke of the party of moral bankruptcy and this is exactly the end game of that. They are now completely void of morality, honesty, integrity, and decency. All of those things can and should be independent of ideology, but we find ourselves in a time where the opposite of those things are the core of the GQP. That core is rotten and it will still be rotten when Trump is long gone.

Trump is a canary in a coal mine. Lots of people, including me, thought there was no way he could be elected. Wrong!!! Lots of other people thought he would straighten up and fly right once he got nominated/elected/inaugurated. Wrong!!! The only thing that mitigated some Trumpian damage was his utter incompetence. With the next Trump we may not be so lucky.

Trump, like many narcissists, is keenly sensitive to insults and threats. Attacks on his ego make him lash out furiously. Much of that fury is because, even in a mind as dim as Trump's, there's a part of that mind that knows he isn't as great as he likes to believe. Lashing out at others is the mechanism for beating that part of himself down.

jealousy on the part of his detractors...they want to take away his power/control/money and he will not allow that to happen (think stolen documents...mine mine mine)..revenge is his weapon of choice..decimate the non-believers, grind them down with profanity, childish names and reveal long hidden destructive secrets..as long as he is center-stage, as long as the media is consumed with Trump, and as long as they don't misspell his name, he will be with us..

He will not shut up. He will not back down. He will remain on attack mode (regardless of whether it's a Dem or a Rep or a prosecutor doing the attacking against him). The media will not redirect its fawning attention.

Only death will end the Trump saga. Not politics, not prosecution. Only death.
