There's a side benefit to the right wing turning their backs on Trump (as long as it sticks...

...this time).

If Trump is finally prosecuted not just for the low-hanging fruit of the classified documents scandal, but for his leading role in the insurrection, there will be a lower chance of running up against diehard Trump-humping jurors who refuse to convict him.

Let the indictments fly!

My hope is there are about 10% of his cult that are die hands that never leave him and vote against (or don’t vote at all) the Republican running instead of TFG.
