Michael Moore: People don't like inflation but it doesn't equate w- human rights being stripped away

Ari Melber invited me back on
@TheBeatWithAri
this week to talk about why I knew, and told him a week ago, that there would be no red wave. Hint: It's a false equivalency to think that the price of gas somehow equates with women’s human rights being stripped away…

it's just common sense but apparently it's a bit too nuanced for Repugs - what does inflation matter onetexan Nov 2022 #7

He said he saw a blue wave coming and from the results compared to expectations it was a blue wave.

Says to remember that the house count isn’t over yet and even if they win, people die or are indicted so even if Dems don’t win, they need to prepare for special elections. He reminded us that two ReTHUG Congresspersons died during this session.

While the establishment media pumped the red wave for months, Moore was one of the few pundits out there taking the contrary position.

We've been through these cycles over and over again throughout history. We have ways to address it, but it takes time and patience. However, the loss of democracy could be permanent and that would probably come with out-of-control inflation as well.

a lot of people who are concerned about inflation voted for Democrats because we know they will handle it a lot better than Republicans will. I'm concerned about crime, which is also why I voted for Democrats. And yes, gas prices bother me, but the Republicans won't do anything about it because it's price gouging by the corporate interests, and nothing else.

Republicans just naturally assumed that stoking up fear would lead to votes. But they offered nothing except finger pointing. No reason to vote for them.
