Because it looks like 4 of the 5 major metro areas have already reported. Which likely means that more Rethuglican votes are going to be coming in than Dem votes from here on out.

...besides, if you have 4/5 major metro areas already in, would there even be enough votes left for Romney to overcome an 18-point deficit?
