Saw that problem with links to Substack or some other online dealio a while back.

6. When you post on DU

There is an editor bar just below the Title Box

Copy the link you want to embed

Type in the word/words you want to represent the link

Highlight the word/words

Click the "link" button on the editor

Paste the copied link into that box

Click Okay

The URL goes right after "link:" then the words go after the "|" symbol and you have to close the tag with the "]" bracket symbol

I don't have DU on my phone, and I could be wrong, is there no posting editor feature for the mobile version?

As for the @ symbol. Don't get rid of it. You need to copy the entire link. The link needs to be encased in DU code so that we can click on it.
