would now have no effect on the count. The consideration was that actions from the DoJ could influence the vote. But now the vote has been cast. I guess the coming run-off election in Georgia might still come under this reason to hesitate, but honestly - if they are going to be such sticklers over this little understanding, not even a rule, then they should be expected to be equal sticklers over the broken laws.
