California races Democrats are currently leading.

CA6
CA9
CA13
CA21
CA47
CA49

Some of these races are barely over the 50% mark for counting. There are a few close ones that we are currently running behind, but could still pull off. Unfortunately, it's too early to know. California is slow to count, but this time around it seems to be moving at a snails pace.

Unfortunately CA-27 Mike Garcia (R) vs Christy Smith (D) isn't encouraging. Just A Box Of Rain Nov 2022 #6

The count has not moved for two days. I'm not sure what is happening.

Please continue to count, CA! If it means we keep the house I have all the patience in the world. I vote via drop box on the day of every election because I enjoy it. It means something special to me and I have voted in every single election (city, state, federal) since I was 18 in 1980 and I have voted for Dems every time, down ballot. So has my entire family throughout my life. I even taught my 1st graders how to vote and why we vote...they loved voting! I hope they continued with their civics as they grew up and eventually became 18.

I do expect several of the called races for republicans, to at a minimum be very close if not a couple flip to Dems.

Do they understand that you can divide the job up and get it done quickly? Lots of counters and lots of observers make the job faster and easier.

IMO there is no excuse for not updating a race for 2 days when the congress hangs in the balance and some of these races were reportedly going to be very very close before the election.
