I hope that he will not dominate cable news non stop

One thing, I no longer watch what used to be Chris Matthews after the network news and he would always break to cover a rally.

Now it is PBS Newshour and they will not. They will not, right?

An NPR station drifted on top of my music station and they were talking about how young democrats were turning out and proceeded to interview SOME YOUNG REPUBLICANS (over 50?) to get their opinions.

Even NPR had to play the bothsiderism game.

Candy!

I put his five-letter name and three-letter abbreviation on my TRASH list and still get plenty of info. And there’s that OTHER matter going on in Europe.

This is a new experience for me, and a calming one.

I can’t imagine (and really don’t want to know) what GD is like without those blocks.
(Well, yes I can, because that’s why I set them up! )

I see from the PBS reference that you are ad-free when there. I tell people to buy a star, AND use an ad-blocker. No wonder people need tranquilizers.

I have to ask, what’s a Cletus?
Keep it clean, please.

I thought it was cetus, as in cetacean, or whale. That made some kind of sense to me.

from a rural area, especially the South. It's on par with Bubba as a catch-all name to refer to a stereotype, one that doesn't tend to be flattering. Apologies to all the Cletuses and Bubbas out there.

edit to add context: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/media-trump-country_n_5a449e8ae4b025f99e199ef8

This was the year the political media couldn’t stop reminding us of the forgotten Americans. All year long, outlets parachuted reporters into “Trump Country” to observe his voters in their habitat — “Cletus safari” is the derisive term of art — and the reporters returned with tenderly crafted soft-focus portrait after tenderly crafted soft-focus portrait of people aching to say the n-word.

2nd edit is a better example than the previous one.

All I care about are updates concerning Poland, and I can access British news outlets for that.

I don’t think I can stand another two years of the media’s sick obsession with everything this man vomits 24/7. I’m out, at least for today.

(If you’re talking about All In With Chris Hayes, Fox News lives rent free in his head. I can only take small doses of him, as well.)
