Is the figure "32,000" a trump tell?

Or just a coincidence?

After just a surface Google search... ( Wish I had lexus-nexus)

- trump admitted he stopped the Broward votes and had dirt on DeSantis, DeSantis "beat" Gilliam by 32,000. This smells to high heaven and is what made me curious. 32,000 is a benign number. Not small enough to challenge, not big enough to challenge.

- trump wanted to increase US nukes to 32,000

- trump's Eastman withheld 32,000 WH emails

- trump's "out-of-office" message was 32,000 words

- trump's PAC donated $32,000 to Arrington race

- trump announced reopening of America after 32,000 people had died of Covid

- trump exaggerated 2018 rally crowd in Grand Rapids, saying there were 32,000 there

- trump's Peter Navarro said they projected Dow to reach 32,000 in 2020

- highest raise a trump ex-WH staffer got was $32,000

May be more?

into his mind. It does seem to indicate that the number is just random.

Just like two weeks was always his time frame for doing something.

When he says 2 weeks or 32,000. Just seems coincidental that DeSantis "wins" by 32,000 when trump freely admitted he helped.

Big tough guys with tears in the eyes, guys who don't cry, but they do when they have a chance meeting with the former guy, which happens all the time, you just never see it, and the big tough guy says, "Sir . . ." Did I mention he had tears in his eyes?

32768 is 2 to the 15th power, often cited as 32K and a naive person might translate that back to 32000. When Trump was younger and still paying attention to stuff (he obviously got tutored by somebody in the arts of propaganda) it's a number that appeared a lot in ads for computers and computer related business equipment. In the late 1970's it would have been the maximum RAM memory complement of a typical business 8-bit CP/M based computer system which Trump might have encountered. (The Commodore 64 leapfrogged this to 64K by using paging techniques that were not common in earlier computers.) While I'm sure Trump is as conversant with computers as I am with managing failed casinos, I think he might have been at an age when this was a number in a lot of ads which he would have seen as superlative and state of the art. In the late 1970's a small business or personal computer with 16K of RAM would have been typical but 32K would have been a Cadillac maxed-out specimen. I can believe he just saw a few ads, or maybe even one ad, with this figure that impressed him or struck his fancy and without understanding what it meant it's stuck with him ever since.

I suspect it is his definition of Bigly. 30k sounds like an arbitrary approximation, but 32k is likely to be remembered in a sound bite and sounds more statistically significant, even with no basis.

Of course, it could be that Trump only has an 8 bit register in his brain for numbers, meaning he only recognizes numbers from -32767 to +32767 (one bit is a sign register).
