...nearly as in-depth as CNN has.

I much prefer MSNBC's approach to CNN's.

but the coverage they are giving it does not include fact checking and seems to be kind of wishy washy. It was "low key" is not nearly critical enough. And actually, it wasn't low key.

Simply ignoring them altogether is the play here. I haven't been watching every second of MSNBC last night and today, but from what I did see, they weren't even airing any of his comments. They just were talking about how he announced that he would be running for president in 2024. In this situation, you don't need to factcheck what you don't give air to to begin with.

a good part of it with the volume muted and they talked over it, some of that talk was not even about Trump! Can you imagine?

I had it on out of morbid curiosity.

I far prefer CNN to MSNBC. Their opinions do not influence me.

CNN is better at breaking news IMO and also covers more of a variety of stories. But I really hate the panels they have on during the day.
