Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), the current chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, said he will run for House minority leader after Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced Thursday that she will not seek reelection to a leadership role, according to two people familiar with the decision who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the private conversations.
