in addition to the five mandatory days of voting the following week. An interpretation of the applicable law.

Since we're retired, we'll vote on a weekday anyway and leave Saturday to people with busier schedules.

I did early vote in person the first day available in my area. They had it earlier but it was downtown.

Happy Saturday.

I live in a college community. When I was knocking on doors prior to the general election, I found that many students were registered to vote in their hometown and not the town where their college or university is located.

Plus, our local public schools and colleges and universities are on Thanksgiving break right now, do it’s so important to have many opportunities to vote, especially for those who are working through the holiday.

Athens-Clarke County, GA is going to have Sunday voting on November 27. Other Georgia counties are holding Sunday voting too!

GOTV y’all! 🗳🍑🇺🇸

Htf can it be legal to celebrate insurrectionists' bday anyway? (I've read that's not asshat Lee's real bday anyway.)

to encourage people to go vote. I thought a couple dozen of the league's stars should pointedly head to GA and hand out sandwiches and water to those in line and *dare* GA officials to arrest them.

I wonder what the charge would be called if someone broke those inhuman laws, and what sort of penalties would be.

They'll have to cancel them now. I hope they're busy because if it is slow, I would be pissed to have to work a holiday for no reason.

Since runoffs don't specifically mention being closed for holidays, they should at least be thankful they get Thanksgiving off.

I'm all for early voting of course, but I think taking a holiday away from workers is pretty shitty.
