We already know that the DOJ will not indite Trump if he is elected in 24. But if Trump is indited and charged prior to 24, then I think he goes to DeSantis and says that he will bail out of the election giving DeSantis a clear shot at the election. In return, if Trump is found guilty, DeSantis will pardon him. That way they both get what they want.
