After trolling Trump, Musk is now trolling CBS News

The thread about Musk trolling Trump this evening is here: https://democraticunderground.com/100217396129

The tweet below is Musk continuing to troll CBS News, which resumed tweeting after having stopped for a couple of days. Musk's first response to that had been a reply to CBS, a giggling emoji.

And I'm posting this because even though it's been obvious Musk is unraveling, he seems to be getting much worse tonight. If he thinks this is going to bring advertisers back, or reassure Tesla investirs...

It’s not a right wing meme until it contains, “Type of person that I consider to be below me” and mocks them.

He had the money to throw away and he simply wanted to stroke his own ego by having a direct conduit to spew his own venom and bullshit to everyone in the world. He's a Trumplike narcissist.

is a major backer of Musk's purchase, along with UAE and Qatar.

Will Arabia get control of twitter if Elmo buckles? Must be useful to them to have access to all those posts and messages. Look for another wave of surprise deaths. Or maybe just prison, if they're feeling generous.

a liberal global square (Arab Spring after all ..) and to have a lot of evidence of crimes also destroyed in the process. That’s enough of a win.

And for Musk, a right Libertarian, the $ is nothing. Losing his investment (including stock loss of Tesla) still leaves him the richest person the world. Jack, Twitter founder, who supports Musk and is apparently working with him re SkyBlue, is busy liking his tweets and others on the right.

I’m not at all gleeful at the fall of Twitter, rather am truly sad about it. I learned a lot from brilliant professionals and thinkers, had my eyes opened about a lot of things, and there is no other global place to interact and listen in the same way without seeking out endless silos.

Both Musk and Trump know how easy it is to manipulate the media (including social media like DU) to stay relevant. A common fear is to no longer be worthy of media coverage and exposure.

But if he was born in the US, yah. They would nominate him anytime for more tax cuts (if any taxes left to cut).
