If Trump wants to run in 2024, he had better hurry up and concede 2020.

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution states: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice...."

Not "inaugurated," not "called by CNN," but ELECTED. As far as I know, Trump has never conceded the 2020 election to Joe Biden, maintaining that he (Trump) was the one who was elected. As long as he maintains this stance, he cannot, by his own definition, be elected again.

TFG ego vs. the Constitution. 15 rounds, Madison Square Garden. Don't miss it!

He will have to admit he was not elected in 2020 in order to qualify to run again in 2024. If he keeps insisting he was elected he'll have to explain how he can run again for the third time.

Not that either the Constitution or plain old logic ever stopped him from lighting dumpster fires before.

He keeps proclaiming that he was elected twice, so it’s two and done.

Won’t he just go away, already?

The text of the Constitution doesn't apply to him or his antics, because he has no idea what's in it, and doesn't care anyway.

He can run (even from prison he can do that) but will he even win the Republican primary?

Even a lot of the "MAGA types" are getting sick of him, though he still has his eternal worshippers.

I'd prepare for beating DeSantis.

I think we need to prepare for an opponent we are NOT yet prepared for. Of course, that presupposes some clever tactics by Republican movers and shakers--something which may no longer be conceivable. Maybe another Kari Lake without the borderline insanity. Someone they can just as easily manipulate, but who doesn't scare the world and the country half out of their minds.

I guess your uncle will never realize that before he meets the Great Pumpkin himself, but no one ever said life was fair..........

TFG's opinion as to if he won or lost in 2020 has no bearing whatsoever on if he can run again in 2024.

and see if it floats.

But...I'm becoming more convinced as each day passes after the midterms that Trump hanging around as long as they'll let him would be the best thing we have going for us in a big win in 2024. His only shot at winning the GOP nomination right now is the quirky way they choose delegates for their convention.

He doesn't need to concede because he wasn't elected. Although it will make campaign fodder interesting
Reporter, "Weren't you elected in 2020?"
Trump..."I was elected, but they didn't let me serve"
Reporter, "Law says elected"
Trump, "Well it was a sham election"..on it goes
