I respect and admire Hakeem Jeffries tremendously. I do not believe that a bellicose or bombastic approach is the best way through.
We have to save a space for recovery, for redemption. We need a good chunk of Republicans to throw aside their party label and join us. I really dont think that happens without making space for it in our own minds and our own communication. I am not talking about accepting hatred or hiding from conflict. Theres a reason that Martin Luther King advocated for nonviolent resistance and that was because it works. Only love can conquer hate. We need to hold fast and stand firm against these miserable hateful wrong thinking people and hope for redemption, for them and for us.

We have a duty to the American people to be the sane political party.
Pelosi and Biden and Obama has steered us in the right course, and I have zero doubt that Hakeem Jeffries, Katherine Clark, and Pete Aguilar will maintain the high principles of our party.
